Alaska Blueberry Late July - August These large-leaved bushes that are found in the forest understory produce delicious dark blue berries.
Lingonberry / Low Bush Cranberry August - September Possibly the most useful of all Alaska's wild berries.
Prickly Wild Rose August - September Rose hips are rich
in vitamin C.
Red Elderberry July - August Berries said to be poisonous, but beautiful clusters of tiny white flowers precede them.  
Red Huckleberry August Perfectly round little red berries taste so tangy.
Salmonberry Late Summer Both orange and red fruits are found here in the woods.
Stinkberry Late July - Early August A whitish-blue chalky berry.  Edible but unsavory.
Wild Strawberry Late Summer There's an ever-sprawling strawberry patch in the front yard.
